CNA Training Schedule Madison, WI

If you’re interested in any healthcare profession, getting your nursing assistant certification is a great way to begin your career. Our CNA certificate program consists of either a full-time 3-week training or a part-time 6-week long evening program.

August 5 – August 23 (Clinical August 19 & 20 (Mon/Tues) from 6:00am-3:00pm)

The class will meet in-person Monday – Friday for two weeks from 8:00am to 1:00pm at Neway Directions, with additional work outside of class. There will also be an in-class/lab August 21 through 23 (Wed/Thurs/Fri) from 8:00am to 1:00pm, with additional work outside of class. The clinical will take place August 19 and 20 (Monday/Tuesday) from 6:00am to 3:00pm. 

As a blended class/lab, this means you will be attending class four hours a day and getting homework. This will include reading in the book, watching skills videos, doing assignments, etc. Please let us know if you don’t have a computer or tablet at home. All quizzes will be taken in class. At this time, masks are to be utilized at the discretion of the Neway Directions instructor. Mask use in clinical settings may or may not be related to COVID-19, and it is expected for all students to comply with their instructor’s recommendations for the safety of students and patients alike.

The 3rd week of class will include minimally 16 hours at a nursing home and clinical simulation in our lab.

September 23 – October 11 (Clinical October 7 & 8 (Mon/Tues) from 6:00am-3:00pm)

The class will meet in-person Monday – Friday for two weeks from 8:00am to 12:00pm at Neway Directions, with additional work outside of class. There will also be an in-class/lab October 9-11 (Wed/Thurs/Fri) from 8:00am to 12:00pm, with additional work outside of class. The clinical will take place October 7 and 8 (Monday/Tuesday) from 6:00am to 3:00pm. 

As a blended class/lab, this means you will be attending class four hours a day and getting homework. September 24 – October 28, Evening 5:00pm-9:00pm, 3 nights a week, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
(Clinical October 16, 17, 22, 23 (Wed/Thurs/Tues/Wed) from 5:00pm-9:00pm)

The class will meet in-person Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday for ten classes from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Neway Directions, with additional work outside of class. There will also be an in-class/lab October 24, 29, and 30 (Thurs/Tues/Wed) from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, with additional work outside of class. The clinical will take place October 16, 17, 22, and 23 (Wed/Thurs/Tues/Wed) from 5:00pm-9:00pm.
