CNA Training Schedule Madison, WI

If you’re interested in any healthcare profession, getting your nursing assistant certification is a great way to begin your career. Our CNA certificate program consists of either a full-time 3-week training or a part-time 6-week long evening program.

July 31 – August 18  (Clinical August 14-18)

The class will meet Monday-Friday, in-person for three weeks, five hours each day, with additional work outside of class.

As a blended class/lab, this means you will be attending class five hours a day and getting homework. This will include reading in the book, watching skills videos, doing assignments, etc. Please let us know if you don’t have a computer or tablet at home. All quizzes will be taken in class. At this time, masks are to be utilized at the discretion of the Neway Directions instructor. Mask use in clinical settings may or may not be related to COVID-19, and it is expected for all students to comply with their instructor’s recommendations for the safety of students and patients alike.

The 3rd week of class will include minimally 16 hours at a nursing home and clinical simulation in our lab.

September 11 – 29  (Clinical September 25-29)

Clinical Simulation and Graduation 12/8)

The class will meet Monday, Wednesday, Friday, in-person from 5-9pm each day, with additional work outside of class.

As a blended class/lab, this means you will be attending class five hours a day and getting homework. This will include reading in the book, watching skills videos, doing assignments, etc. Please let us know if you don’t have a computer or tablet at home. All quizzes will be taken in class.
