CNA Training Schedule Madison, WI

If you’re interested in any healthcare profession, getting your nursing assistant certification is a great way to begin your career. Our CNA certificate program consists of either a full-time 3-week training or a part-time 6-week long evening program.

February 24-March 12, 2025, MTWF – off Thursday’s

Clinical March 7, 12 (Fri/Wed) from 6am-3pm

In class lab March 10-11 (Mon/Tues)

The class will meet in-person MTWF – off Thursday’s for the first 7 days from 8:00am to 2:00pm at Neway Directions, with additional work outside of class. There will also be an in-class/lab on March 10 and 11 (Mon/Tues). The clinical will take place March 7 and 12 (Fri/Wed) from 6:00am to 3:00pm. 

As a blended class/lab, this means you will be attending class four hours a day and getting homework. This will include reading in the book, watching skills videos, doing assignments, etc. Please let us know if you don’t have a computer or tablet at home. All quizzes will be taken in class. At this time, masks are to be utilized at the discretion of the Neway Directions instructor. Mask use in clinical settings may or may not be related to COVID-19, and it is expected for all students to comply with their instructor’s recommendations for the safety of students and patients alike.

The 3rd week of class will include minimally 16 hours at a nursing home and clinical simulation in our lab.

Class April 9, 11, 16, 18, 23, 25, 30 (Fridays & Wednesdays) from 8am-2pm

Clinical May 2, 7 (Fri/Wed) from 6am-3pm

In-class/lab May 9, 14 (Fri/Wed) from 8am-2pm
