CNA Training Schedule Madison, WI
If you’re interested in any healthcare profession, getting your nursing assistant certification is a great way to begin your career. Our CNA certificate program consists of either a full-time 3-week training or a part-time 6-week long evening program.
December 30, 2024 – January 17, 2025 Monday-Friday
Clinical Jan 13, 15 (Mon/Wed) from 6:00am-3:00pm
In class lab Jan 14, 16, 17 (Tues/Thurs/Fri) 8:00am-12:00pm
The class will meet in-person Monday – Friday for two weeks from 8:00am to 12:00pm at Neway Directions (off 1/1/2025), with additional work outside of class. There will also be an in-class/lab January 14, 16, and 17 (Tues/Thurs/Fri) from 8:00am to 12:00pm, with additional work outside of class. The clinical will take place January 13 and 15 (Monday/Wednesday) from 6:00am to 3:00pm.
As a blended class/lab, this means you will be attending class four hours a day and getting homework. This will include reading in the book, watching skills videos, doing assignments, etc. Please let us know if you don’t have a computer or tablet at home. All quizzes will be taken in class. At this time, masks are to be utilized at the discretion of the Neway Directions instructor. Mask use in clinical settings may or may not be related to COVID-19, and it is expected for all students to comply with their instructor’s recommendations for the safety of students and patients alike.
The 3rd week of class will include minimally 16 hours at a nursing home and clinical simulation in our lab.
January 22-March 7, 2025, Evening 3-9p, 2 nights a week Wed/Fri
Clinical Feb 26, 28, Mar 5 (Wed/Fri/Wed) from 3-9pm

The class will meet in-person Wednesdays and Fridays for seven weeks from 3:00pm to 9:00pm at Neway Directions (off the week of February 17), with additional work outside of class. There will also be an in-class/lab on March 7. The clinical will take place February 26, 28, and March 5 (Wed/Fri/Wed) from 3:00pm to 9:00pm.
