If healthcare is where you are wanting to go, one position to consider is a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). This role provides you not only a great platform to launch your healthcare career but is a great way to dip your toe into the industry while receiving a decent hourly wage. As a CNA, you’ll work to provide patients with basic care services while helping each person feel comfortable and secure. CNAs are the foundational healthcare workers that allow doctors and nurses to do what they need to do, and as such, are indispensable. This role works under the direction of a nurse and is responsible for notifying the rest of the patient’s healthcare team with potential changes and information regarding their condition.
As our population gets older and the healthcare industry continues to grow, CNAs continue to be in high demand. As a CNA you’ll also have to opportunity to find employment at a number of facilities including:

At Neway Directions, we offer CNA certificate programs with both the new and career-transitioning professional in mind. Through our CNA programs, we offer full-time (duration: 3 weeks) and part-time (duration: evenings for 6 weeks) training.
We cap each session at 14 students in order to allow for individualized attention – ensuring you get the most from this opportunity. Clinicals are held at reputable sites in the Madison area and could potentially be the same sites you apply to for future employment. Our instructors are seasoned and have a combined total of over 100 years of experience. Lastly, we also offer services helping our students secure employment in their field, so when you’re certified and ready to apply, Neway Directions has your back.
